Hi there! I’m Akshita, and here are the hats I wear:

Product Manager
Founder
& Author
Journalist & Activist

I’m a first-gen Gen Z Indian-American woman who has been highlighted in 10+ media outlets, awarded by the University of California, and interviewed by UC Davis’s Chancellor (linked below).

Catch my story on Amazon Prime Video (or YouTube) now…and check out my work below :)

I’m currently a Product Manager at Publica (an IAS company) in the ad-tech space where I lead our SSAI product, and work on several other CTV ad server products! I was also a Contrary Research Fellow where I wrote about private tech.

I’m the founder & Executive Director of The REVIVAL Zine, the leading intersectional feminist college publication/national community, for which I was funded by the University of California Center for Free Speech. I was granted the UC Davis Silver Community Service award for my work at over a dozen campus organizations.

I recently published my second book, a collection of poetry and short stories,Butterfly City,” available now on Amazon! I previously published another book — “Where Do the Crows Go?” — along with ~15 articles in various journals and publications.

I’m getting my Masters in Data Science from UC Berkeley part-time, I graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in Computational Cognitive Science, and I have a multidisciplinary background in product, computer science, data analytics, leadership, and marketing.
